First we got in touch with Bryan (he came as a word of mouth referral). Epic wasn’t the first contractor we spoke to (wish they had been), but Bryan immediately stood out because he was candid but professional, straightforward, and helpful but not pushy. My wife and I spent a solid week talking things over; we had a ton of random questions, and Bryan immediately answered or returned every call and just seemed accessible, available and patient. Once we decided we were a go on our project, Bryan worked with our schedules and came out to look at the job in person. He showed up when he said he would (on time), walked our property, inspected the roof, and made a noticeable effort to just understand the project the way my wife and I saw it. Next he handed us an iPad and explained the whole process start to finish with a nice video presentation. He went over obvious things like product color, and timeline, how they would protect our plants and clean up, etc. AND he went over things we hadn’t thought of, like how much space three pallets of shingles would take up in our driveway, when the materials would be dropped off, weather conditions, permitting, etc. After we met, Bryan emailed us a simple, user friendly electronic contract which matched exactly what we had discussed; no surprises, no mistakes, just straightforward and easy to view. After that, we were given an install date for the chimney, as well as a small install date window for the roof. When the chimney date came, Epic showed up as promised! No delays, no broken appointments, no rescheduling…. A few days later, roofing materials arrived, and the following day the crew showed up and got right to work. During the job they sent a few progress pictures which was a nice touch, and even though the entire job was done in a single day they kept us in the loop the whole time with a few phone calls and texts…. The day after the install Bryan returned to walk the property with us, inspect things, answer any questions, and even took some cool drone footage of the final product. From start to finish, from the first phone call with Bryan through the time our job was done (which was only a few weeks!), they handled everything… they handled the permits, they handled the cleanup, they were accessible, straightforward, timely, they followed through on every detail, they gave us options, and they kept the whole thing so simple and streamlined. The quality of the work and the outcome of our roof was fantastic, but beyond that the customer service was a refreshing experience that went above and beyond the whole entire time.
